I'm back...

So, I haven’t posted in a very very long time and for that I apologise but I have been so busy with work and Uni that I haven’t had a chance to think never mind right down my thoughts. HOWEVER we are at that time of year again, the Spring / Summer season is here and everything is changing... well most things.

I still have lots of reports to write and exams to do so  as usual I am procrastinating in anyway shape or form I can and what better way to do that than to update you on what I have been up to which sadly is not very much.

I did however model for a couple of the 4th years at the Grampian Transport Museum. Oh and the day after these photos  were taken I turned 20 so I will fling in a birthday pic too ...

Just helping the T-birds fix up their car ;)

Love the fact I got to wear my own DM's for this shoot

This is me with my fabulous friends Ann and Andrea on my Birthday :)

So I must go try and do some work but I promise you the blog will have a new look and new posts coming very soon so keep checking. Katharine xx

Second Photoshoot...

So I did a second photoshoot with photographers Louise and Jody, to get my cover photo and some photos for my article, this shoot was so fun.

I raided my wardrobe the night before looking out what I thought represented different decades, here is a sample of some of the photos I hope you like. (By the way this shoot took less than an hour, I had some very quick changes)

It's that time of year again ...

Yes, it is that time of year again, no I am not talking about the christmas rush, the cold weather or the parties. Sadly I am talking about the stress levels being risen because it is almost the end of term and the hand in date for my piles of course work that are 'work in progress' and no where near done.

Like everyone else at this time of year I procrastinate, today that was done by looking at Uni work from last year hoping that would give me inspiration... it did motivate me to do some work but sadly not my essay, just another blog post.

In first year we had to design a shop of our choice. I designed a shop selling Dr Martens and Retro style clothing.  So I took pictures of myself with my many pairs of DM's, a full circle skirt and naked man. Naked Man is an old shop manequin my Aunt got for me and lives in my flat, he has no hands or head but is a great conversation starter when I have parties.

Here are some of the photos I took last year, naked man is dressed in these.

Excuse the bad quality they were taken on my webcam at the time.

OH... and exciting news get my pics from other photoshoot on Tuesday. Had a wee sneaky peek at an unedited one, looks great. So excited to see them :)

University...

So as I have mentioned before I study Fashion Management at Robert Gordons University. I am currently in second year and believe me when I say we have an insane workload this month, but it is fun (some of it).  This term my year get to produce our ownPreview magazine for which we do an article, photoshoot etc.

Now... I was not going to post my photos on here until after the hand in date but now that is only 10 days away (panic). Well I have decided I want to show you some of the photos but I am saving the best til last and they will be posted after the hand in date but here is a wee taster until then:

The Photos were taken at the beautiful Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen and I think it fitted the 1920s theme perfectly. I could not have pulled this off though without the help of my friend Charlotte who agreed to model at the last minute, photographers Louise and Jody and finally my  hairstylist Gillian (who happends to be my boyfriends mum, so handy she owns a salon :P )..

I had another photoshoot on Tuesday in the studio with Louise and Jody, I am so excited to see how the photos turn out. Anyway in the mean time I must be getting on with some of my other Uni work, I hope you liked these photos and I shall keep you posted.
